		<description>nathan, thanks for the input.  i was referring to &quot;two hands&quot; as being trite.  who knows why most bands/labels choose to put out some of their worst songs as singles.

i will admit  &quot;safe to land&quot; is the best song on the record, but  as a whole i couldn&#039;t  get into the either the music or the lyrics.  much, like switchfoot, i like the early stuff better and i feel their first cd is their best.</description>

It&#039;s not Jars of Clay&#039;s deepest work, but it cannot be called &quot;trite&quot; either. As far as song writing goes, I would encourage you to give a few tracks another spin. &quot;Safe to Land,&quot; &quot;Boys (Lesson One),&quot; &quot;Scenic Route,&quot; and &quot;Heart,&quot; to me, are the strongest tracks on the album, each taking unique risks in the middle of an otherwise electronic-drive album.
