I’ve always heard love is an action, but it never really made sense to me. Love isn’t something you can fall in and out of; it’s a response to what Jesus has done for us. It’s easy to confuse love with an emotion, but true love, real love is more than that.

It’s easy to love when we feel like it or feel good. It’s easy to love when we feel love or feel loved. But the true test of love, is what you do when don’t feel it. I’m sure Jesus didn’t feel like dying and being crucified, but His love acted out despite His feelings.
